Drawing on the technical expertise and experience gained through a wide range of information security projects, we research effective and economical ways to build a security system with open source software (OSS). “Open Source (OSS)” introduces OSS functions that are useful in day-to-day security work, examples of how they are applied, and points to consider when implementing and operating them, so that companies and institutions can turn the advantages of OSS into practical security results.
